GOAL 3: PROTECT PEOPLE

DIGNIFIED WORK AND FAIR WAGES

As a family business, we recognize our responsibility towards our employees beyond the borders of the Black Forest. That is why when selecting our international suppliers as well, we not only pay attention to ecologically and ethically sound substances, but also to dignified working conditions, fair pay and we have zero tolerance for child labor.

We support numerous social and ecological projects worldwide in order to create a fair, long-term livelihood for local people. In this context, we are especially committed to establishing and strengthening women’s rights in the respective countries. By 2025, we aim to further develop our existing projects both nationally and internationally.

We primarily use the raw materials obtained through these projects for our ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND brand.

HOW WE WILL ACHIEVE THE GOAL

GWW WORKSHOPS AND HOME PERSONS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

Our collaboration with GWW (workshops and homes for persons with special needs) in Calw, Germany, has been very close for 40 years. So far, it has enabled us to provide a job for 15 people with special needs. GWW took on the mission of creating the most suitable forms of jobs and housing for persons with special needs in the communities of Böblingen and Calw, and providing the necessary assistance and support. We want to continue and expand our collaboration in the future.

SOCIAL AND ECOLOGICAL PROJECTS WORLDWIDE

By 2025, we will intensify and expand our commitment to social and ecological projects. These projects enable us to safeguard dignified living and working conditions, as well as formal education and sustainable jobs. Alongside fair work, a guaranteed supply of food and healthcare is important to us. Thanks to new opportunities for education and financial independence, we have been able to support women in their right to self-determination.

Supporting women who are less fortunate than us is another matter that is close to our hearts. To break through the poverty spiral, we offer them fair, reliable work as part of our project. With what they earn, they can offer their children better educational opportunities and a better life.
