SKIN COMPATIBILITY
In general, all subjects tolerated the products from the DADO SENS PURDERM series very well,
no side effects or intolerances were mentioned.
THE STUDY
48 women and two men between the ages of 13 and 66 (average age 25.8); the subjects described their skin as follows (multiple selections possible):
47 tend to have blemishes
34 tend to have pimples
42 tend to have blackheads
29 tend to have oily skin
21 tend to have combination skin
28 tend to have sensitive skin
5 tend to have allergies
The test subjects were asked to use exclusively the product series made available to them for the duration of the observational period (four weeks).
The participants were divided into two groups of 25 members each.
Group A was made up of young participants ages 13 to 18 with blemish-prone skin (papules, pustules, comedones) and a diagnosis of acne vulgaris. They used DADO SENS PURDERM Creamy Cleanser, PURDERM Cleansing Tonic, PURDERM Intensive Gel and PURDERM Cleansing Mask in the morning and in the evening for four weeks. The Cleansing Mask was used two evenings a week instead of the Cleansing Tonic.
Group B was made up of adults ages 19 to 66, likewise with blemish-prone skin, papules, pustules and/or erythema and dry, sensitive and/or oily skin. These individuals had a diagnosis of adult acne (acne tarda) or folliculitis or seborrheic eczema. They used DADO SENS PURDERM Creamy Cleanser, PURDERM Cleansing Tonic, PURDERM Normalizing Cream and PURDERM Cleansing Mask in the morning and in the evening for four weeks. The Cleansing Mask was used two evenings a week instead of the Cleansing Tonic.
The participants then filled out questionnaires about each product.
